Isle Of Wight Restaurant & Spa

Matthews Rea was commissioned to design a 28,600 sq ft waterfront leisure complex at Island Harbour Marina on the Isle of Wight, featuring an indoor pool, spa, tapas bar, rooftop bar and outdoor cinema.

As part of the scheme, a long-established family restaurant was fully refurbished. We introduced a contemporary redesign, adding banquette seating to the east elevation to increase covers and improve comfort for families and groups. Framed ‘cloud’ prints reference the restaurant’s name, while a new lobby shields the interior from marina draughts.
